Take the The AI Best Practice for Investing survey:
I’ve been having a lot of conversations with different types of investors regarding how they use (or intend to use) AI to aid their investment research. This has encompassed individuals, family office investors, boutique buy-side teams, hedge fund traders and sell-siders. These conversations have revealed that use of AI is on a fast accelerating path and is getting increasingly sophisticated, but there is a wide spread of readiness, knowledge, confidence and desires.
One thing most have indicated is that they want to know how other investors are using AI and where best practice sits.
To help answer that question I have put together the short survey linked below. It consists of 9 simple multiple choice questions and takes 2-3 minutes to complete but the answers will provide you with a good sense of what the state of play is for AI in finance.
All responses will be kept confidential. Only those subscribers that respond will be provided the results of the survey, so if you want to know more about best practice, then please take the time to complete the survey (and make sure you are subscribed so I can send the results to you). All responses will be aggregated and anonymized so no individual will be identifiable.
Please share this around your colleagues and connections and restack it, so we can build a wider response set. I’m sure we all look forward to learning more about how AI is being used in finance and what capabilities investors find most useful (and frustrating). If this is valuable, then with the pace AI adoption is moving, I will update it for everyone every 6 months or so so we can all keep pace with best practice.
As always
Inference never stops. Neither should you.
